My youngest guru son comes into my computer and fixes it...He thinks I should remember all the jargon but I don't even try...If I can't reach him I get my OLDEST guru son , hubby's niece, or other family marvels.. I told him he should go for a walk in the flower gardens or nearby woods and I can tell him the name of ALL the wildflowers...Can HE do that ? NO! To each his own...or HER own ! *grin* Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Thu, 25 Feb 2010 22:45:03 -0800 "Jen LaBonte" <[email protected]> writes: > Belle, I have a good friend in WA who does the same thing for me. Kind of scary in a way. ____________________________________________________________ Nutrition Improve your career health. That's the way here too, Jeannie. My son in Vancouver is my computer repairman. He is very good at keeping my computer up and running for me. When I ask my daughter how to do something, she starts explaining how, but I tell her to wait till I get my pencil and paper. Then I write down EVERY step she tells me to do. I tell her I'm drawing a "picture". If I don't have it all written down, I forget and then I don't know how to do anything. She's used my analagy to tell other people about how I remembeer to do something. <g> Emma > To: [email protected] > Date: Fri, 26 Feb 2010 23:23:21 -0600 > From: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] [HS] School subjects... > > My youngest guru son comes into my computer and fixes it...He thinks I > should remember all the jargon but I don't even try...If I can't reach > him I get my OLDEST guru son , hubby's niece, or other family marvels..
