We are in North Las Vegas, a quiet community away from the glitter and noise of the strip. We had some snow on the huge brown rocks we call mountains, looks like Cool Whip' on gingerbread. I have friends and kin in other states who are having problems with the snow. If it melts too fast a flood threat could add to their problems. We have had rain off and on for several days. The dampness isn't good for my aches and pains. The house is nice and warm but the dampness seems to creep in anyway.
