Theres a beautiful ceremony when a Mason dies...I believe the apron is put on the body, a sprig of greenery is put in the coffin and there's a ceremony...Only went to one, many years ago, but remember how nice it was....Not only will HIS Lodge hold the ceremony, other Lodges will attend to show honor. Hubby is a strong Mason but doesn't want ANY sort of ceremony when he dies...I may change that if I outlive him. He's a Past Master mason....Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Sun, 24 Jan 2010 20:27:57 -0800 "Jen LaBonte" <[email protected]> writes: > Belle, > > You family history is indeed interesting. Your Grandfather's Mason funeral sounds so nice. My husband has his Mason apron around here but he refuses to tell me what a person does with it. > ~J in AZ ____________________________________________________________ Nutrition Improve your career health.
