Hi Jen, then I'm not the only one who has boxes of pictures to put in albums. Actually, I'd like to scan the negatives and put on a disk. I know that is a major project and is going to take days to do, so am waiting for a week when I can devote to it. I have taken so many pictures in the past & unless I kept them in an album I usually tossed them boxes or I gave them away...and therefore, I don't really have that many pictures any more. One of these days I plan to put all the lose pictures in albums..don't know when that will be though. One of these days we have to get our acts together & start weeding out all the things which we have accumulated over the 12 yrs which we have lived up here. I have an airdyne bicycle which I have been trying to sell. I plan to put it on Craig's List...but I don't know how to put the picture on the site. I have a friend who I think will help me out. I can write the ad..that's no problem..but I don't know about putting a picture of it on the site. We will have to take it outside to take a picture of it. It has been sitting in our living room for the past 4 weeks since we were advertising it in the paper. We had one person come over to look at it but I think he had plans of low-balling us & once he saw the bike, I think her realized that we were asking a reasonable price for it . If we cannot sell it through Craig's List then I just may give it to the place that I went through all my rehab with. I will ask them to buy it first..but I have a feeling they won't want to put out money at this time. I had some coral bells in one of the attached boxes in the front of our house. My husband thought that it would be best if he pull them out because they would come up next year. I could have killed him. I caught him before he did too much damage. He did do a good job of cutting back one of our peach trees & I noticed from the window today that it already has some leaves & peach buds on it. Normally, he does most things right..I was surprised when I saw him pulling those coral bells out, that's all. Just keep reminding your hubby about he plants & I'm sure he will soon be doing what you "suggested" to him. Of course, men never realize that they have been "told" how to do things..at least my husband doesn't. I couldn't ever have a better husband though...guess that's just part of being married. Well, I best finish up & head toward bed. Our TV went out on us earlier tonight & I was interested in seeing the news. It just went back on again...FINALLY. I guess Flagstaff is getting a lot of snow. We are getting plenty of rain..so I don't know if it's because of our rain that our cable went down or if it was due to the snow on the satellites in Flag. Probably we will get up tomorrow morning & there will be snow on the ground. It will only be here for around 24-48 hrs. Heard from a friend in Tucson tonight & they are expecting blizzards down there. BTW, meant to ask you if you got your information from that crematory place? We got ours & I sent ours back in on 1/7/10. Seems like it's taking a while. I guess though that they give you cards & put all your records together. I guess I'm getting a bit impatient. ~J in AZ ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 19, 2010 9:15 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] SPRING!!! >I lived in Chicago for 10 years and in Southern Ill. for about 20, best I > recall..Around Salem, IL.
