    3. Hello all, I have been watching CNN and the terrible reports on the damage and loss of lives. It must be the worse natural disaster since the Vesuvius volcano destroyed Pompei in 79 A.D. Where are all these going to go and how will they survive? How can they find their own families? Dead or alive? So much destruction that will never be cleared or repaired. So many people without homes. Food, water and needed facilities may be scarce as well. Bush, Cllinton and Obama say they are going to help. I hope they follow through and it is not just false promises as has happened with other things. Regards, Belle

    3. The situation does seem really bad in Haiti. Everyone has been elated at the number of people found alive even after this many days. There is only one airport but at least the runway wasn't damaged so that is a big plus. It takes time to get supplies together and an organized plan between all countries put into place. I'm really amazed at how quickly some things have taken place.
