    3. Emma, I wanted you to know...my daughter (who works up to 64 hours most every week...and has two large dogs and two small house dogs at home, with three cats outside and a husband to feed) said this was really a great way to eat for three days! She made the snap top microwave dish of it, and froze them. In the mornings just grab one...and at lunch in the kitchen at Radiology Clinic...she said she could almost take a nap! It was very good, very filling and nutritious. I enjoyed mine too...of which I substituted one can of cream of chicken soup, because I am really not crazy about mushroom soup. Everybody loved mine too...I didn't get to freeze any of this one...too many tasters! But anyway...thanks again...wish I could reciprcate, with something you would like. I feel like this one will be used in my family quite often.(I am adding your recipe here, in case anyone else wants it) Stella

    3. Stella, You said you were adding her recipe, but I didn't see it!! I'd really like to find such a recipe. I may have saved it in a folder..but right off hand, it would take some searching. So, if you still have it accessible, I really would appreciate getting it. I promise you that I will try not to ask you any more favors again!!! ~J in AZ ----- Original Message ----- From: "busbys martins" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 17, 2010 1:48 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Chicken casserole > Emma, I wanted you to know...my daughter (who works up to 64 hours most > every week...and has two large dogs and two small house dogs at home, > with three cats outside and a husband to feed) said this was really a > great way to eat for three days! 3. I'm glad everyone liked it. I made up recipe books for my two grandkids for Christmas (and all 3 of my kids wanted theirs updated too). I told my granddaughter I can't make myself quit collecting recipes, even knowing my cooking days are practically nil. She told me to be sure I sent her any that I found tasty enough to add to the book. I've collected recipes since before I married and I still love to collect them. Taste of Home has put out a casserole cookbook that looks good but I don't cook enough to warrant buying it. I still may break down and get it, I don't know. <g> About the only time I make myself cook something is if I go to a potluck. This church only has potlucks on the 5th Sunday. My church in Gresham had a potluck once a month. 3. Yes, it sounds good & we do eat a lot of chicken..so I'm sure I will be using it. I know I have a good potluck dish in my recipes. My mother always called it Spanish Spaghetti & it seemed like everyone always liked it. I also have a good recipe from when I was doing my student teaching. One of these days I'll get on the ball & post a couple of casseroles. If I would make Spanish Spaghetti, I'm sure my husband would be very happy. (The reason I haven't given out recipes..other than the white chili one, is because I have to type everything out & sometimes my eyes just give out on me.) Even with that White Chili one, I learned a good lesson..was amazed when Stella told me about all the ones on the Internet. For all I know, many of my recipes may be on the Internet. ~J in AZ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roses" <[email protected]> To: "southern-chat" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 17, 2010 3:58 PM Subject: Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Chicken casserole I'm glad everyone liked it.
