Stella, I barely was able to stay awake to watch the finish, was ready to go to bed at one point. But fter that Auburn game last week in which they went into 2 overtimes, I didn't dare go to bed before the AL game was over. Kay, Southerners love their football in a way that people who aren't from the South don't understand. This team and coaches are class acts and worked very, very hard to accomplish their goals. They deserve accolades and time to celebrate with the students, faculty, staff, alumni[everyone in my family graduated from Bama],and their fans. Neither of our kids even considered going anywhere else, even though so many of their friends went to GA. When Bear accepted the position at Bama, people asked why. He said when mama calls, you have to go home. He was born in Arkansas, but attended Bama. Lots of people feel the same way. It's hard to understand if you're not a fan in the SEC.
