    3. Belle and all... My fav is the Jacaranda - which I could never grow in Florida... but it wasn't for a lack of trying. If I'm thinking of the right tree, Mimosa has flowers that are beautiful and smell sooooooooo good. Pretty soon it will be time to watch for the very first buds to appear.... I can hardly wait! I'm not used to so much "brown". xoxoxo ~~~: ) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Belle Shepherd" <[email protected]> To: [email protected], [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, January 19, 2010 1:05:15 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Spring... Every Spring since I have lived elsewhere I have really missed my beautiful pink and white DOGWOOD TREES in Georgia. They are a sight to see. There were lots of them in our neighborhood. The new leaves on the other trees growing to make shade on a hot summer day were also very pretty and welcome. We have a mimosa tree in our back yard that will soon show signs of new foliage and shade the patio. I do miss my dogwoods and fruit trees.
