To all you good folks who have suggesred that I write a book and that you have enjoyed reading my posts, I want to thank you and tell you that over the years I have written many pages about my life and things that I remember. I thought my kids and grands might enjoy reading about this tough old gal and how she managed to survive. It is not suitable for publication, only for family members. Some of the things might have a bit of interest to others and get a laugh or two out of them. I have been to many places, met many people and made many friends. I will post some of my stories again if anyone is interested. Bell & Ann......... Now see Bell I think you should write a book and then Ann followed and she also thinks you should. Do you just not feel like dictating to whomever stays with you or even taking into a recorder. You have stories I have always enjoyed and I know that others enjoy them too. Your mind is keen so go for it!!! I have a niece in L.A. and I had an e-mail today she didn't mention it. I think some become so accustomed to the trimmers that they hardly mention them. I think I will just stay in Eastern Kentucky...where about the most scary thing has been floods and they are terrible, however I have also been blessed to never live in a flood area. Bell, its not too late for you to write a book....I think it could be #1. Really, I have always found you so very interesting. To: [email protected] rootsweb. com, [email protected] yahoogroups. com Date: Saturday, January 9, 2010, 11:43 PM I'm sure you all have heard about the earthquake in Northern California. I talked to my grandaughter who lives in the area, she said it was quite a 'shake' but she and family are ok. I lived in Southern california many years and went through many of them, some caused a lot of damage, others just a bit of shaking, rattling the dishes, etc. They are always scary.
