Sent: Jan 18, 2010 11:05 PM Every Spring since I have lived elsewhere I have really missed my beautiful pink and white DOGWOOD TREES in Georgia. They are a sight to see. There were lots of them in our neighborhood. The new leaves on the other trees growing to make shade on a hot summer day were also very pretty and welcome. We have a mimosa tree in our back yard that will soon show signs of new foliage and shade the patio. I do miss my dogwoods and fruit trees. 3. Linda, We have had rain the last couple of days, more is expected. I don't like it though I know it is neccesary at times. The dampness creeps into these old bones even though I am in a nice comfortable home. I think about the folks in the streets trying to find a shelter and dry clothes. I remember the sudden showers/storms that came up in Georgia, lasted only a few minutes with the sidewalks barely dampened. Strange!
