    3. hi Emma...and all... had to chuckle at the "hole" experience. I have seen such things and had similar experience. I was en route to Tampico, Mx. (taking a bus ride through Mexico) when the bus stopped for a potty/food break .... there actually were toilets but all were completely clogged with this, that, and the other.... the only paper was what locals brought with them for the purpose at hand. Having no recourse (in their minds) the very long sink was the only option..... and that was what they used.... women and children....old and young. Hey, gramma can't get up there - give her a boost!! I think the hole in the floor would have been an improvement over this. I went on back outside and found me a safe (if there was such a thing) spot for just a whizzer. That wasn't the worst place I ever had to potty in my travels..... ever use a communal potty house? egads!! 3. That reminds me of my good friend. She is a missionary. One time she and another lady were in Africa and had gotten onto a bus to go to a different town. She said there were African warriors on there with their spears, and a diversity of people on the bus but they were the only females on there. The bus would stop periodically for a "potty" break. She said she and her friend would take turns waiting at the bus until the other one returned from the bush to make sure the bus didn't leave before they were both back on the bus. 3. Hi freckle toes, missed your chats, glad to see you back. Are you keeping warm in cornpone, IN? That potty experience in Mexico is one that I could certainly do without. We just don't have any idea how fortunate we are in this country until you hear about how the rest of the world lives.
