Sent: Jan 14, 2010 5:36 PM This good old USA has much to offer the travelers who are able to get out and go. So many historical places, so much beatiful scenery, it never ends. I have been able to see much of it but not as much as I would like to see. never got to the new England states, Alaska or Hawaii. I have some favorite places that I would like to see again but know that I won't be able to do. I love Charleston, South Carolina. My paternal grandmother was born there .The old family homes were on Church Street and Atlantic Street, they are now on the list of homes in the tour, close to the Battery Park and the ocean. One of the homes is said to be haunted. Seems the great-grand parents kept a Bible on the table in the front hall for the use ofguests. They would take it to their room. In the morning they would look to take it back to the table, it would not be there because something had taken it and put it back on the table, no human hand had done it. I really like North Carolina, the scenery, the people, the food. Some of my ancestors lived there, the Lenoir family had a county named for them. The Biltmore House in Asheville is worth se Belle ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
