Stella, I know your concern for your children who will be traveling. I pray for safety for my son and his wife in England because they go gallivanting all over Europe. I enjoyed it...knowing my traveling days are over. My family loves New Orleans. I never did, I got my fill at Mardi-Gras (msp) I don't eat spicy cuisine...so I rather go somewhere else. My daughter and my youngest son are going to Key West on the 30th. For a week or so. He goes all the time. Now...after that earthquake...and always a terror threat...I hate them flying to Miami.But I think I have become a recluse. I never could tell about my travels like you did Belle, Did you take notes or keep a journal? I usually had some of my six children...and I did not take note of everything..I remember a lot of places we ate...and rooms we stayed in, etc, but could not write today about what others did, much. just did whatever we were doing. I guess if I could go now, I would take in more...but it didn't matter to me that much when I went. I like nature places...now I bever forget what they look like.My best trips away from hone with my family was in our Holiday Rambler, in State Parks.I have a table full of photograph albums of trips.My memory is failing me now a days.
