    1. [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Care for one another
    2. Kathryn Langford
    3. Good grief!!! Remember the WWJD item that we used to see so much? There are people starving to death or dying under rubble in Haiti, in our country of riches, in every part of the world. That same phrase has been used here on this list. Jesus would - I'm sorry. I can't talk about...I have always thought that using an example of someone whom one believes to be remarkable gives one a standard by which to judge their actions and thoughts. By the way, my closest childhood friend is Jewish. One of the most important people in my life is a practicing Jew and believes Jesus is the most remarkable person who ever lived and speaks of Jesus with the upmost respect. One could learn much from Jesus about how we should treat others. Tolerance is one of the many lessons...I'm sorry. I better not say anything else. I would express my concern to Emma and let her know that she has one more person praying for her - but I guess that would get me into even more trouble. My fil died from kidney failure after he made the decision to stop his dialysis. He was calm and did not suffer. Dialysis just wore him out after several years. He lived longer than his doctors thought he would. I pray that Emma's family & friends will be supportive of her decision, whatever it may be. I always thought that praying for one another is one of the most precious gifts we could give to another. If we can't express our care and concerns about others, as many faiths teach, I'm gone. One thing that makes this list special is that we do care about others and that we can express it here whereas it would be 'forbidden' in other places. Is this our list mommies trying to wash my mouth with soap? If that's the case, then so be it and I'm thrown off the list. I might be wrong, but I believe that there are many people here who care about others and who are thankful that we can speak of our faith and how faith sustains us as individuals. I can always reach my friends by private email and I can't be barred from reading what's written here.
