I wear clothes forever...have shirts that looked faded when I bought them and they're still good enough to wear around here...I used to go to a church store that sold clothes for 50 C...& sometimes I go to one here that sells any item of clothing for a buck..Name brand clothes are common , which seem to last forever....I also wear them longer before changing..if it smells and looks clean, who's to know OR care ? Washing and drying in the dryer is what wears clothes out, I think..Else where does all that dryer lint come from ???? Hubby loves old soft shirts to wear outside in the summer, and paid $4.50 each for two at Goodwill ! I was appalled....wait a bit and buy them for a quarter at yard sales ! He's worn all his favorites to threads, so I cut the sleeves out and the collar off of some shirts and he wears them unbuttoned...Hot natured folks sure suffer in the hot muggy summers....Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ On Fri, 27 Jun 2008 07:08:24 -0400 "Smoochie Newton" <smoochieangelpie@gmail.com> writes: > Is it possible to buy any piece of clothing today and still have it > 15 years > from now - I think we're lucky if a shirt lasts two years.
