    3. Sometime there are nights that I never go to sleep. I lay there and rest but just not sleep. Recently, I saw an ad on TV for something by the name of Alteril. It is all natural and con- tains melatonin. They say it contains three things. It has absolutely worked for me. I cannot tell you how many sleepless nights I have spent. Now I am going to sleep by midnight and sleeping til morning. UNREAL for me. It is all natural (I call the ingredients herbs and spices. You take 2 an hour before bedtime. You can get them at Amazon. 2. Stella Roper
    3. I guess everyone is watching C-span, and listening to the speeches on the floor. Of course, it is just their ideas, and what the powerful lobbyists are twisting their arms to get them to do... plus what their constituents are telling them (they need to get re-elected). I see the need to get the vote in..to help stop this horrible dilemma , and maybe...just maybe, someone gets in office to weed our the useless stuff. Stella

    1. Re: [SOUTHERN-CHAT] Sleepin' in.....
    2. We sleep whenever we want to around here...so lucky to be able to have that luxury....I'm going to shut 'er down for tonight, too tired to stay up......I usually play a few games on here after I get my mail, then read awhile...Because we went shopping today I took a nap too late this afternoon. Oh well, don't have to get up till I get ready in the morning...We each cook our own breakfast as we don't always eat at the same time...I nuke a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal, put sugar, creamer, and a pkg. of sweetener in it, then slice in a half banana.....Crumble up 3 saltines on top...Kroger wheat saltines...Oddly enough I don't get tired of it. HE wants that flavored oatmeal most of the time....He fixes himself a little pot of coffee, I drink milk ... If we get hungry for a real breakfast I fix it at lunch, or whenever we get hungry OR when I feel like it...Hubby isn't a cook, so he eats what he can get! *grin* I usually cook one good meal a day....but if I don't feel like it we eat whatever is easy...We ate breakfast out today, got one plate lunch to share on the way home...tonight we got hungry so hubby got out cracker bologna, hoop cheese and crackers then fixed us a strawberry cream cheese toaster strudel......His standard supper when he has to fix it is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches....Suited me....Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Fri, 3 Oct 2008 02:37:58 -0400 "MaryClyde" <maryclyde@Comporium.net> writes: > And at this time of the night they "should" be asleep!!! 3. MARY CLYDE...... TODAY IS MY BARFDAY TOO!! I mean "BIRTH" day. I hit the big SIX ZERO today..... I'll bet you get some eggs pretty soon......and I'll bet they will be scrump-dilly-is-she-us. What I wouldn't give for some home grown eggs. The swamp mice here are giant sized which is odd because the squirrels are scrawny. I put food out for all the critters.....there's a big ole raccoon that sits upright by the edge of the brush......and a possum that is bigger than my little Goobie dog.....swamp rabbits are plentiful too. I've even seen an armadillo but he stays well hidden. There's one little duck that comes by..... I think she was the runt of a bunch and the others kicked her out of the group. She comes around morning and evening all by her lonesome.....poor little thing. I always make sure there's bread and seed and water...... can't stand the thought of anything goin' hungry.... even the mice. ;paulette in sw fla usa.... 3. Stella, People are happy to be remembered with a card. They do not care where you bought it or what you paid for it. If so you are sending to the wrong people.
