    3. Hi all...and thanks for all your Ansers. Carol...it is really a creole dish.I add hot sause...and of course abt four cloves garlic...plus the cumin, basil etc. I just thought maybe there was a short recipe, outthere, or some new canned sauce or something...guess I will start cooking again on Friday.~~grin~~We have decided the food is going to the River place for the ballgame party. That's why I wanted to have it in a crock-pot. Not much room there in the Motor Home she has set up...and the young ones want to sleep in tents. We just have one outside table on the deck, down there. It will work out Alabama Crimson Tide is 9--0 ! now. S.

    3. hI Stella, how about cooking your onions, celery, garlic, worcestershire, cumin, salt, pepper in a pot by there selves till they get the way you want-then add your already cooked beans to it and serve over rice--- I would like to try that my self but with shelly beans in a can... Sounds CHINESE ! 3. does anyone one here have access to ship's passenger lists from 1840??? I'm looking for Benjamin Richard Newton who migrated to the U.S. from England in that year and wouldn't ya know that it's not free on ancestry!! Well,,,,,, if anyone has access and could look this up for me I would be forever grateful .... smoochies too paulette in sw fla usa xoxoxoxo it's a good day to be alive... p.s. if you're the prayin' sort, please offer prayers up for my hubby - his cancer has returned but it is undetermined at this time exactly where it has landed.......we should know pretty soon.....

    2. Stella Roper
    3. Hey...I just tried to go there..i seems Ancestry.com is trying to take it over...it used to all be free. When you get the page...don't use the first search slots...that is members of Ancestry. Go to the bottom of the page...I know two ships that came from London, to Pittsburgh Pa. , was The Jean and Ship Mary...if you knew which ship you can get all it's voyages.Of course..there were a lot of them...Goodluck...

    3. Paulette I sent you the link to The Olive Tree website...off line...I was afraid it wouldn't go through on list. You can search any year...all ships from England in any year. My German ancestor boarded the Loyal Judith in Holland (Amsterdam) but he was from a small village in Germany...he had to go there to get voyage to America...so remember...they may not be on board a ship that departed exactly where you thought. But if you know where he landed...that is how I find mine. Stella

    3. I haven't turned my heat on yet. My legs are wrapped so that helps keep me warm. I've pulled the afghan up a couple of times in the early morning but that's all. The other morning I started to pull it up and thought to myself I really don't need this after all. We're suppose to have rain come in this weekend but we've been dry all week.
