After hunting for the plans for the ark yesterday afternoon (my didn't it rain?), here are some more of the 1850 horse and jack registrations. On the surface - I know these don't look exciting and you may ask why bother? After many years of digging for ANY shred of evidence of the existence of an ancestor, I have found little references like these to be proof that an individual at least lived there! Plus, it's fun to see what was important to them and I love horses anyway! Lewis and Batty WILKERSON, $4, horse "John Ross" M.
