Continued from last week. Edley RICH passes at daughter's home. Age 68, died at his daughter's home - Mrs. John "Jack" ODER, in Louisville Sunday afternoon 21 Sept, abt 1 pm. Had suffered a stroke about a week prior to his death. Native of T'ville, had been in the restaurant business in T'ville and Glasgow for a number of yrs. Was known as the "Hamburger King", noted for his delicious hamburgers. Survived by 3 daughters: Mrs John ODER, Mrs Harold CROOK of Washington DC and Mrs Jay Webb SHELLNUT of Wilmington DE. Two sons & his wife precededed him in death. Burial Mt Zion Cemetery. Howard JACKSON passes at home of sister. Age 69, died 18 Sept 1947 at the home of his sister, Mrs Rose SPEAR of Route 2. Victim of infantile paralysis at age of 3, never walked afterwards; bedfast for past 17 months. Survived by 2 sisters: Rose SPEAR with whom he lived and Mrs Nan MILLS of Austin KY. Two brothers: Marion of T'ville and Osco of Nashville. Number of nieces and nephews. Burial in Gamaliel Cemetery, Rev J H SWANN officiating.
