The appraisal of the estate of Benjamin STUART was produced and recorded. John NELSON, William GARDNER, Aron GAGE, Lawrence SMITH and John SMITH appointed as Commisisoners to divide the slaves and personal estate of STUART among the widow and legatees. Second appraisal of estate of Frederic STUMP returned. Commissioners of the Tax appointed as follows: Samuel GOODE, Gladin GORIN and James WREN entered into bond; - Goode to take the north side of Barren River; GORIN the south side and west side of Drakes Creek and WREN the east side of the creek. Phenis COX, security to Polly STUMP (administratrix of Frederic) ordered that COX be exempt from being the security in the future. Appraisal of estate of Robert KING decd received and recorded. Ordered that George FRAYZER (sic), John COX and Burwell JACKSON be paid for appraising estate of STUMP. Ordered that David STUART be paid $3.00 for summoning a jury to hold an inquest over the body of STUMP.
