Does anyone on the list know if the John T. WHITE who m. Florintha HEAD was from the Thomas and Elizabeth WHITE family who were enumerated in the 1850 Monroe Co. census, T'ville area? John and Florintha are buried in the White Cemetery near Moss, TN. Other children shown in that census were Asberry, Jordan, Nancy, Mary, Elizabeth, Amanda, and Sarah. A son, J. T. age 7 was included. This same J. T. appears in 1870 T'ville as John T. age 27, with Marcellas G. age 23, Lindsey age 1 mo. and Elizabeth age 63. Thomas was not there. The John T. White I'm interested in was b. abt 1847 d. 12 Oct 1917. Any scraps will be appreciated.
