    3. _____ I am still searching for information regarding the following families in Cumberland and Monroe counties. Robert Green and wife Elizabeth. Robert was born between 1766 and 1775, He was in Cumberland County by 1810, probably by 1805. Robert may have been married prior to Elizabeth, but this is only speculation on my part due to the ages of the children on the census in 1810 and 1820. Four of them appear too old to be Elizabeth's who was born around 1790. I was able to find the name Elizabeth in a deed book extract (thanks Sandi!) from 1819. I have a list of names for children who appear to be theirs, namely my ggggrandfather, Robert Robinson Green, born August 10, 1811 at Kettle Creek, Cumberland County. In 1820, the family appears on the Monroe County census. If what I have pieced together is correct, they went to Sangamon County, Illinois about 1821-1822. Robert Green appears to have died about 1826-1828, the rest of the family is in southwestern Wisconsin by 1830, where Elizabeth remarried. Although some of this needs further documentation, there is quite a bit of evidence to back everything up. Questions: What is Elizabeth's maiden name? When and where were Robert and Elizabeth married? Was Robert married previous to Elizabeth, and if so, to whom? Names of children? Benjamin Farmer and family. They show up near Robert Green in both the 1810 and 1820 censuses. Benjamin supposedly married four times and had 24 kids. His family also went to Sangamon County, Illinois about the same time as the Greens. At least some of them did! Also, some Farmers end up in the same area of Wisconsin at the same time as the Greens. Robert Robinson Green's first wife was Cinderella (Sinderila) Farmer, they were married in Wisconsin in 1834. She died in 1846, and unfortunately none of thier children lived to produce offspring. Robert Robinson Green remarried and all eight children from the second marriage produced numerous descendants! Benjamin Farmer's name appears on at least one land record I have for Robert Green in Cumnberland County, but I can't remember in what capacity. I still haven't figured out the land grant system!! Questions: Names of wives and children of Benjamin and their spouses would be helpful. Particularly anything that might tie them to the Greens. William Murley and his second wife, Jane Green. Again, neighbors of Robert and Elizabeth Green. Same census pattern--1810 Cumberland and 1820 Monroe. Robert Green is mentioned on one of William's land records, I am not sure now if it was as a neighbor or a chain carrier. If I calculated correctly, Jane would have been born between 1775 and 1784, making her an age to possibly be a sister to Robert. Question: Did William and Jane have any children together? If so, what are their names? Any specific information about Jane; her birthdate and place, death information, etc. Does she have any siblings? I realize this is long, and I posed a lot of questions. I do not expext anyone to have all of the answers, nor to I expect to find all of the answers with just this one message. I am hoping for some tidbit to point me in the right direction with my research. Thank you, Joni Vella Cudahy, Wisconsin
