He is 78, born KY; she was 74, born VA. "Whereas it pleased our heavenly Father on the 9th of this month [July 1849] to call from the Stage of Action our once beloved Sister Elizabeth H. EASTERS who was a Member in full fellowship with us and died with a full assurance that her peace was Made with God - Therefore Resolved that we appreciate her Godly walk and Moral deportment whilst a member with us & that we deeply sympathise with her aged mother our beloved Sister in her bereavement as well as her Brothers & sister." Lucy BUNNELL, 1850 Barren Co census, Dist 2, house 534-546, shown as 34 yr old wife of Jeremiah (37, farmer, born KY). Mother of Eliza J, 13; Thomas J, 11; Samuel W, 10; James O, 8; Jeremiah S, 6 and Savanna E, 3. She was the former Lucy JAMES; they married in Barren Co 26 Feb 1836, d/o Thomas James. Samuel LANE, Dist 2, house 597-613, 1850 Barren Co census. Samuel age 41, born VA; Julia A, 34, born KY. Children: Francis C, 11 (female), John W, 9; Mary A, 6; Charles J, 4. She was the former Juliann WITT; they married 23 Feb 1837 by Rev. Ralph Petty; she d/o Charles. The EMORY famly not found on the 1850 census but their marriage occurred here 8 Mar 1848; she the former Martha HARDIN. Henry PETTY had been clerk of the church since the beginning of these records. 1850 census finds him in Dist 2, house 736-753; age 34, farmer, born KY. Wife was Louisa J, 17, born KY - she the former Louisa Jane RATLIFF; marriage in Barren Co 9 Apr 1848 by Rev. James BROOKS. She the d/o Stephen. George T CLACK, 1850 Barren Co census, Dist 2, house 1265-1285. Son of William W (50, farmer, born KY) and Isabella (48, born KY). His siblings were Elizabeth 20; John w, 18; James A, 9 - all born KY. Isaac BROWN, 1850 census, Dist #1, house 383-393. Age 39, Baptist preacher, born KY. Wife was Martha J, 29, born KY. Children were: Elizabeth A, 16; Mary J, 15; Susan J, 13; James B, 10; Nancy C 8/12. Martha was the former Martha J WHEELER; married in Barren Co 23 Apr 1848. to be continued next week.
