I admit my mistakes!!! On the puzzler yesterday .... I made a boo-boo. When I sent Charles Hartley the puzzler for posting to the board, I changed, accidentally, the date this event took place. I have begged him on bended knee to correct the date on the site but am also going to post it here. The year was 1779,. NOT 1799! Makes a really big difference!! I'm getting my new glasses today or tomorrow - maybe that will help!
