JOHN FORRISTER. Order Book 4, p. 108, appeared 17 July 1820. He was then 81 years old, county resident, farmer, unable to work. He had no family except his wife Mary, age 84 who is unable to work. He enlisted in 1776 as a private soldier for 3 yrs under Capt John ASHBY in the 3rd VA Contintental Regiment commanded by Col. MERCER. At the end of the 3 yrs, he was honorably dis- charged, and then enlisted under Capt TRIPLETT in Col MORGAN's Rifle Regiment - he thinks in the year 1780. He has lost his discharge and never has received a pension. He has not since that time by sale or other manner disposed of any of his property to make him eligible, no one has anything in trust for him or debts owed him. He only owns an old mare and colt, a milk cow and a heifer. FRANCIS SCOTT: Book 4, p. 119, 16 Oct 1820. Age 62 years, resident of Barren Co. Served in the Rev. War when entering in the spring of 1779 in Capt WALLACE's Company; Col HEARTHS Regiment and Gen Charles SCOTT's Brigade in the Continental Line. First enlistment was for 18 months but before the time expired he enlisted to serve again. He referred to an original application made before Christopher TOMPKINS on 18 July 1818. Has not disposed of any property, etc. He owns only one horse, a colt, a stray cow and calf, 2 sows and shoats, one pot and skillet dryer?, furniture including knives, plates, forks, cups, plus three wheels and a loom. Is a farmer but unable to support himself. Family consists of Francis SCOTT who is 55, daughter Francis aged 25 and son James, age 13. to be continued next Monday with John KELLY & Peter PRIEST.
