I hope that some of you in the vicinity can come out to the Highland Games this weekend. Saturday is when most of the contests are held and are a delight. I enjoy the events here more than anything - the cost is fair ($15 for a one-day ticket), the music is superb, the area is spotlessly clean, the clan tents informative - they even provide transportation from the park area up to the main field free. Glasgow is one of 10 sanctioned Highland Games and according to them, we are in the top 5 on places the performers want to come because it reminds them so much of Glasgow Scotland. Hope to see some of you out there! It's held at Barren River State Park, 10 miles outside of Glasgow off 31E. Have a great weekend, no posts tomorrow as per usual.
