    3. Here's what was reported 26 Aug 1954. Betty Jane DECKARD of Atlanta GA, d/o M/M Jesse Deckard of T'ville whose engagement to Robert Edward WOOSTER is anounced. Wedding will take place 1 Sept at the home of the future grandmothers home, Mrs. Kirk Wooster, Sr. The bride to be was a graduate of T'ville High School, is employed by the Citizens and Southern National Bank. He is attending the U of Georgia, Atlanda Divison; employed by the same bank. James Barlow BAXTER was instantly killed Sat eve about 6:30 when the motorcycle which he was riding ploughed into the left front fender of an auto on the T-ville-Moss highway 163. He was the s/o late Barlow Baxter who died 8 Apr 1854 and Mrs. Bessie ARMS Baxter who survives. He was riding at a very high rate of speed when he hit the car of Wilson SPEAR. He was thrown across the ditch into a field. The driver of the car was not injured. Baxter is also survived by 2 sisters; Mrs Elizabeth DUNCAN of Indianapolis and Mrs Virginia DUNBAR of Hestand; two half-sisters - Mrs Bessie Lee MASTERS of Maryville TN and Bernice Baxter of Hestand; two half-brothers- Benton axter of Mt Herman and Bazz Baxter of Hestand. Services at the T'ville Baptist Church by Revs. C E CARTER and Raymond JONES, burial family cemetery near the home. W C LEE dies. Services at Corinth Church of Christ Monday for William C Lee who died 19 Aug; a citizen of the Beautiful Home neighborhook; lived about 1/2 between T'ville and Gamaliel. Services by Bro Douglas DAVIS, burial Harlan's Cross Roads Cemeteryh. Two youths captured by Sheriff Felin FORD following a break-in at the HOLLINSNWORTH and DALE Garage last Fri night. John William COULTER, 17 and Paul ARMS, 23 are residents of Moss TN. They broke a glass window and $17 was taken. When they reached Miama FL they were notified that their daughter, Jane was in the hospital in Indianapolis with polio. The case was mild and she is fully recovered. M/M R T HAGAN & daughters Hettye Lou and Rebekah spend the weekend in Bardwell in Carlysle Co. Mesdames Levi BAILEY and S T HAGAN attended the Initiation of four candidates and the 15th anniversary of Lafayette TN Eastern Star Chapter. M/M Kenneth BURNS & Bob FINN of Lexington were guests of their schoolmate, Miss Hettie Lou HAGAN. Mrs. Levi BAILEY has moved her beauty shop to the basement of the T'ville Drug Co bldg on 3rd street between the beauty shop of Thelma GRAVES and Wayne's Barber Shop. Hospital News: M/M Wm R BUSHONG, T'ville, had a girl named Susan Berneice born 22 Aug. M/M Rondall STEARNS of Route 1 had a girl named Kathy Joan 24 Aug.
