On the previous post on the county farm/poor house, I note I had a typo that I didn't catch in time. Mary Elmore was on the 1900 census, not the 1800. Another sip of coffee time! After a stormy and very wet weekend, with Saturday giving us abundant rain and no phone service, it's time to get back to the genealogy world. Charlie has posted the puzzler for the week and if you'd like to give the question a try, click on the URL in my signature line called gensoup and see if you know the answer. Several have asked me; there will be no book fair in Glasgow this year. There were too many counties that were unable to participate due to a variety of reasons so I have decided to cancel. Green Co will be hosting their book fair the first Saturday in November and hopefully some of you will be able to attend. I will provide additional information in a few days - this is a great event and I hope to be able to see some of you there.
