William Siddens was born in the 1770s, perhaps near Philadelphia. He married Rachel Stockton, eventually settled in Barren, perhaps in the part that later became Allen, and died in 1856. It is quite possible, even probable, that William is the brother of James Siddens. James came with his family to Barren early in the 1800s, staying until c 1825, at which time he lost his property for taxes and he moved to Indiana. I am seeking information about the ancestry of William. Note: some sources give William's dob as 01 April 1777.
