There is reference to Elizabeth Mattox Woodson and Jesse Bailey on pages 264 and 418 including a list of their children. In her book a very short paragraph address's Callum Holman Bailey son Jesse Bailey and his marriage to Elizabeth Mattox Woodson of Va. They left Barren Co. in 1811 after marriage and moved to Clarksville Tenn. In May 2006 I found the cemetery of Jesse and the land where his 400 ac plantation existed. Since then I have found living descendants of Jesse and Elizabeth and we are sharing our research findings. Callam Holman Bailey was an American Rev. War patriot and is honored fro his service on a plaque on the Barren co Ky courthouse square.
