Nicholas DERNAL to be exempt from paying tax for 50 acres of land; Francis JORDEN exempt for paying taxes on 200 ares; Thomas DERNEL examptd from paying tax on 70 acres; Nicholas DERNELL Jr exempted from paying taxes on 70 acres. (They had been over-charged) William LEMAR exempt from paying his county levy for 1798. James ELAM exempt from paying county levy for the future. Ragland LANGSTOM took the oath to perform marriages; Samuel B GOODE his security. Indenture of sale between E W COVINGTON and Richard BIBBS recorded. Deed for same issued. Power of Attorney between John GOODIN and E W COVINGTON acknowledged & recoded. WATSON vs GOODMAN appeal, judgment confirmed.
