All, I am transcribing a court paper from 1849. In reference to land it says ... nor do they know whether the same was (illegible word- fratuited?) _______ to Allan deceased or purchased by him from others who made deeds of conveyance therefore- They _________ that some of the tracts were ________ to hom and that others were conveyed to him.... I think that the meaning is inherited I wrote what I saw and the letters look like patcuted ... does anyone have a clue what was really written ? Love these old docs! Any suggestions are appreciated!
