I have just finished transcribing and printing volume 2 of the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Flippin, KY. This consists of their church book 2 and 3 and covers the time period Dec 1881 through June 1919. This was a large church during this time frame (still in existence) and has a lot of interesting information. I have included as an appendix the list of pastors, clerks and the burials at Neal Cemetery which is owned by the church and is across the road from the church. Burials shown go through the mid 1970's. There is a little humor in this book also which I will share. As with many churches, they had a hard time of paying the pastor and paying a church sexton. The latter also later was responsible for cleaning the cemetery, digging graves etc. A special resolution had to be passed re HOW the sexton buried people, it seems he was not digging the graves facing east and digging them wherever there was space, even if they went the wrong directions or were in the middle of another family's plot.
