It is with great sadness that I announce that our dear friend, Jim Poore, died Sunday morning. He had been fighting cancer for some time and his death will leave a great void in the lives of his family and all his multitude of friends on this list. Jim was a long-time subscriber to SCKY and other lists, maintained web sites, and helped people constantly. His friendship meant a lot to my family as we were blessed to have met he and his sweet wife Judy. He was an avid genealogist, had a wonderful sense of humor, and a willingness to do all he could to help others, as well as being active with his church and being with a singing group - he had a wonderful voice.
