    1. [SCKY] Joseph Phillips b ~1847
    2. Eric Clark
    3. My GGG Grandfather was Joe Phillips, Billie Phillips was my grandfather. I'm trying to track down what I can on Joe Phillips - I've heard stories from family members that he left his wife & children in Taylor County and never came back - I've also heard that he had another family in another county. In the 1870 Taylor County Census, Joseph Phillips is listed at 23 years old, with a wife & two young children. Based on the names of the children, this is the only census entry I am sure is referring to my ancestor. In the 1860 Taylor County census, there is a Jos W Phillips, 14 years old, residing with the SUBLETT family In 1880, there is no Joseph Phillips in Taylor County, but in the Anderson County Census, there is a Joseph W Phillips, 33 years old, with a wife & 5 kids, the oldest of which is 11. Here is what I know, based on family knowledge: 1-Joe PHILLIPS (-) . .2-William Greene PHILLIPS (-) . . +Louisa Jane SHIPP (1869-) . . . 3-Elmer Lee PHILLIPS (November 22, 1899-November 21, 1973) . . . +Emme Estella WILLIS (April 1, 1901-August 27, 1982) . . . . .4-William Lee "Billie" PHILLIPS (July 30, 1928-September 27, 2006) Any assistance or information anyone could provide on Joe Phillips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance, Eric Clark
