Once in a great while, I open the list for updates on people, and this is one of the times. We have a lot going on weather wise in the US and some disasters. 1 - If you are in the Shephardsville or Louisville area, please check in to let us know the situtation of you and area due to the train explosion with chemicals. From latest reports, 18 miles of I-65 are closed, the airport is impacted and everyone to stay inside. 2 - If you're in one of the states hit by the blizzards, let us know that you're ok - if you have power! Kansas City got some inconvenient and troublesome sleet, freezing rain and snow but we basically missed the worst of the storm. The problem here and in the rest of Missouri is now the bitter cold. There is a strip of heavy ice running up the I44 corridor with towns like Springfield, Bolivar, and Weaubleau where much of my family ended up, are without power in the cold. Many areas in Missouri and Oklahoma will be without power for at least a week. Brec Morton
