    3. Checking in............Well we are in the major area, fortunately we were on the eastern edge, we still have about 2 inches of ice on the trees. We did not lose our electric totally this time (2000 we lost it for 14 days), but unfortunately my daughter is out and may be a week before she has electric again, she does have gas so she is warm. My daughter-in-laws family lives 60 miles in McAlester which is not good, no electric and may be without for 2 to 3 weeks and my Uncle is in Muskogee in the country to the south and they are saying maybe 30 days. Electric poles snapping like toothpicks. They finally got a generator so they could run some small heaters. It is bad here, 92,000 people without electric just in Oklahoma. As Brec said, (and I too have family in the bolivar, springfield area) they are about as bad. McAlester looks like a war zone and so does Muskogee, reports from family that springfield is almost as bad. I think McAlester has about 4 to 6 inches of ice and more in places. Please say a prayer for all tonight, everywhere, ice area, train area, tornado areas, we have had it all int he states.
