This is when settlers accidentally settled on military land in Barren Co that had been set apart for the soldiers and officers of the State of Virginia They were allowed to "remove" their land entries and settle elsewhere with no penalty. They were also allowed to remove their entries if it was found that the land had already been claimed previously by someone else.
