Here is a little blurb: Family History Workshops Want to learn more about researching your family history and how your family tree connects you to others? What research materials and sources are available? To guide you on these and other related subjects, the Kentucky Historical Society joins with the Kentucky Genealogical Society to offer a series of family-history workshops on the second Saturday of each month during 2007. Topics range from how to begin tracing your ancestry to the hottest new resources for genealogists. All workshops will be held at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort, KY. Each month, the workshop schedule will be: 10:30 am to 11:30 am - Kentucky Genealogical Society program 11:30 am to 12:30 pm - A light lunch is available at a cost of $3.00, payable at the door, but registration by noon of the preceding Thursday is required.
