I am seeking the parents of Lucy JONES, wife of George GREEN who witnessed this deed, and think it possible that she was a sister of Freeman JONES. Does anyone on the list know whether Lucy's parents have been found? (George and Lucy are my direct line.) George Green and Freeman Jones were both Revolutionary War soldiers from Rutherford Co NC. George and Lucy were m. in Rutherford Co., 1784. Freeman Jones and Christian/Christina PARRIS were m. in Rutherford Co., 1785. James Green probably the brother of George) stood surety on their bond.
