John Creed Ford married Mary Frances Strader, daughter of SW Strader and Arena Larimore. Mary was sister to Florence Belle Strader who married Joseph Hartwell Ford as first wife. Flora died in childbirth with first child, son Aubrey Belle Ford), and is buried in the Pleasant Point Cemetery near Lillian, Texas.
