Help!!! Does anyone know of a place called Ugly Bend of the Green River in the early 1800's? I know there's a Horse Shoe Bend. I am looking for information on Patience Logsdon and husband John Flatt. John Flatt operated Flatt's Ferry and I'm looking for the time period and location. Patience Logsdon Flatt supposedly died 1815 in Barren Co and is buried near the mouth of Mammoth Cave. Any information on them would be appreciated. I'm trying to figure out who Patience parents were. Thanks... Gloria in CA
