Has anyone had trouble doing research in Hart Co Clerks office? My friend drove 1,000 miles to do research there and to look up specific records. The clerk absolutely refused to go on the computer and help her in any way. After all those miles she got no where or nothing. There was no one else in the office except for my friend and two clerks sitting at desks! The clerk out right told her she would not look on the computer and help her! She was looking for old documents. Things that are open to the public. Not a very good recommendation for Hart Co! On the other hand the Historical Library was eager and more than helpful.
