Present: Burwell JACKSON, John SHANNON and John Hall, Justices. Vincent ANDERSON, foreman, John GARNETT, Mathias WHETSTONE, Will HARRIS, Freeman JONES, Bing (Byrd?) ROGERS, Hyram O'NEAL, John COOK, McChoul (Michael) HART, Jas. SNODGRASS, Will HILL, Fred BARNS, Will ROGERS, Geo A. SUGG, Elkin TAYLOR, Will TAYLOR and Will BARNES were sworn in a Grand Jury. They retired and found the Commonwealth vs DAWSON a true Bill. The same vs COOK. HERREL vs McPHERSON upon an attachment. Comonwealth vs MAY - case continue. Dazey(?) FRANKLIN vs BARNS. Uncertain of decision. Thomas ARMSTRONG vs Henry RENICK - Judgement on pltff with stay of execution until next court. STICE/STEEL? vs ROUNDSAVAL & C M COVINGTON - special bail. CHAPLINE to RENICK with the Certificate of the Clerk of Mercer County which had been endorsed was exhibited into Court and ordered to be recorded. THURMAN vs TINSLEY. Jury: Isaac RUNSAVALL (ROUNDSAVAL), Isacah (Isaac) MOBERLY, Clement MOBERLY, Jonathan McFADIN, Henry GRIDER, John BEARDEN, John LEWIS, Dewey TAYLOR, Henry LIONS (LYONS), John McKEEL, John ELDER, Isaac STEVENS - verdict for Tinsley and 1 penny damages and judgement. Sneed DAVIS vs SMITH and COLLINS vs STUART - cases continued. McMAHAN vs TINSLEY. Jury to try - they returned verdict for the plaintiff 66 pounds in damages. A deed from BOUCHER & wife to LANDRISS acknowledged and ordered to record. BOUCHER deed to KEY, same. LATHRUM vs JACKSON - case dismissed at the defendant's cost. SUGG vs BARNS - case continued.
