    3. The next session of the Court met on Wednesday, 3 Apr 1799 with the same judges as the following day. ASHBY vs BOONE - cause continued. John CALDWELL vs Roland MADISON - jury called: John McKEEL, Wm BARNS, Geo A SUGG, Simon SUGG, Jas ROLLINS, Simon McKEEL, Geo MOORE, James STUART, Jas MOBERLY, Saml COKER, Thos CLARK & William STRINGFIELD. They returned a verdict for the plaintiff in damages of 11 pounds, 5 shillings, 9 pence principal and 13 pounds interest. THOMAS vs CREEK. Same jury and CALDWELL vs MADISON - returned verdict for 20 pounds, 3/4 pence and one penny in damages. Jas WYATT, assignee of Danl WALKER; HAMMONS vs SUGG; HALL, assignee vs RENICK and SUGG vs GAIN - all cases continued at the defendants' cost. HOBOUGH? vs GRIGGS - writ of inquiry set aside.
