    2. Sandi Gorin via
    3. Another short divorce: Plaintiff: Nancy D. Hagan Defendant: W. W. Hagan Date: 5 Feb 1897 File No.: 65 Nancy Hagan stated she resided Monroe Co and in October 1879 she married W. W. They lived together from that time until February 1897, when W. W., without any fault of her own, treated her in a cruel in inhuman way. Since their marriage they had 3 children: Two boys - named J. U. Hagan and D. M. Hagan, aged 15 and 6 and a girl named Lulie Hagan aged 12 - she has custody of all. W. W. owned and had in his possession one bay mare about 15 hands high and about 6 years old; one white milk cow about 12 years old and one white calf about 1 year old; six head of hogs, about 10 bbles. (sic). He also had about 100 pounds of bacon, household & kitchen furniture. She asked for alimony and maintenance for her and believed that she ought to recover of the defendant $1200 and the custody of the two youngest children. She believed she had reasonable grounds for leaving and that there was reasonable grounds to support her feeling that the Defendant will fraudulently sell, convey or conceal his property unless prevented from doing so.
