It's Friday again with more weather coming in. Instead of posting from one of our counties on Friday, I'm continuing a list of the most common diseases that took many lives or impaired people in 1900. You can spend time looking up what some of these were - or, I could use them as a puzzler in the future! We need to remember that medicine was progressing by 1900 but many diseases and ailments did not have the treatment needed. The old country doctor was still coming to the home and treating his patient with more basic drugs.
