Looking for dates, parents, siblings or any other information about William PARRISH. William PARRISH born abt 1808-1810 died 1873-1880 Elizabeth GARMAN born about 1814 died 1855-1860 They had nine children Hoping to learn the idenity of the parents and any siblings for William PARRISH. There was more than one William and Elizabeth Parrish family about the same age in the area. This one was a farming family and they lived in Allen County, Barren County (Glasgow to Fountain Run), Monroe County, and Warren County (Smiths Grove - Elk Springs). There was a death date of 13 Nov 1857 for one Elizabeth Parrish but not sure if it was this Elizabeth or the other Elizabeth Parrish. After Elizabeth died in the 1850's, William married Sarah "Sally" Ann Goad and they had two sons in Warren County (moved to Kansas after William's death). William died between 1873-1880. There was an 1876 death for a William Parrish in Warren County, but don't know if it was this William or one of the others. William and Sally owned land in Warren County identified as "land Known as the Thomas Mason tract". I did not find any information about the "Thomas Mason" mentioned and did not find anything in the records showing what happened to the land when Sally and her sons left for Kansas in the mid 1880's. William named his first son John Anderson and his second son Isaac G. Because the mother's maiden name was Garman and her father was named Isaac, I wonder if Isaac was named for her maiden name and her father. If they did name the children after relatives, maybe John's name gives a clue to William parents. I did find a Parrish female from NC married an Anderson and they came to Ky, but have found no connection to them.
