Hi all, It was during one of these "posting" periods that SKS pointed me to this couple on the IL census that allowed me to connect Samuel W. Norris to the Norris' of Cumberland Co. Now I'm hoping someone can help me find his wife, Emma Walker Norris who was born in TN [parents also born TN] in Dec, 1865, all according to the 1900 Census of Wabash, IL. Their children were named Lula Belle[m. Kenneth Ward], Sallie [m. D.J. Carter], Ethel [m.Wheeldon and Gossett ]; Beulah [m. Tucker ] and Jessie [m. Sherrod]. There may also have been a son Jesse James, enumerated on the 1900 Census where Jessie, the daughter with a different date of birth, was not enumerated. I have not found dates or places of death for them either. This family was enumerated on this census only [married in 1880-no census in 1890]. The girls were born in various KY counties as Samuel seems to have been a wandering blacksmith. Ethel, Beulah and Jessie ended up in Central City, Muhlenberg Co. Samuel and Emma are my husband's great-grandparents and Emma my brick wall. He is the grandson of Lula Belle Norris and Kenneth Ray Ward. All hints appreciated. Jane
