We are looking for any information about Robert Edward "Bobby" Lee, born 1806-1810 in Green County, KY, was in Edmonson County by 1830. Court records prove one brother, John Lee of Wayne County, married to Tabitha Francis 1810. Robert married Leutitia Rountree in Edmonson County in 1832, had children William, born about 1833, md Margaret Blair; James Louis, born 9 June, 1835, md cousin Tabitha Frances Lee, then Lizzie Pulliam; Claranda born 1839, married cousin John L. Lee; Mary Jane born about 1847 in MIssouri, married William Adwell; Joseph Francis born 1849 in Missouri, married five times; and Thomas Edward, born Jefferson County 1852, md Mary Ann Kenedy in Edmonson County. Also any information about Daniel Kenedy, Irish immigrant carpenter brought to Edmonson County by Larkin Proctor to work on a hotel. He was born in Ireland in 1822, married Mary Hogan. They came to America in 1848 with one daughter, Margaret, who evidently died shortly after arrival in Boston. Daughter Catherine married James Morris Hunt in Edmonson County; Mary Ann married Thomas E. Lee; son Michael never married. The children are buried at the Mammoth Cave Baptist Cemetery. They were made wards of O.P. Shackleford in 1867, listed as orphans, but we have found no record of the deaths of their parents. We would appreciate any information about these families.
